The Secret to Interrupt Clients Who Never Stop Talking

This blog post has been authored by Krista Kathleen, Build Your Life Coaching Biz with Krista

Do you ever have that coaching client that will talk and talk and talk and tell endless stories to where you are wondering in your mind “When will this madness end? When will you get to the point?!”

Maybe you started off the coaching session by asking: “What do you want to focus on today?” And that’s the last question you were able to get in before the 60 minutes were up.

This is something that I struggled with for years with some of my personal clients wondering why they were being so rude, not letting me actually coach them.

I also didn’t want to appear rude to them either.

So I would quietly sit on the other side of the computer screen and occasionally nod and mumble “Mmmmhmmm” and “Tell me more” hoping that they could read my mind that this session was going nowhere.

I was taught in my…

Stay on Track – Character

This blog post has been authored by Engracia Sleeswijk, ESleeswijk Consultancy

Uncertain times make people feel insecure. People feel unsure about which way to go. Different emotions like fear, manifestations of illness, and anger are manifestations of insecurity. The offense has proven to be the easiest way to express dissatisfaction. Not a strange occurrence: When you think that you have a mountain in front of you that you can't move, you may feel unstable. At a time when professionals are going through uncertain times, it's crucial to stay on track. When certainty is hard to find, it is a character that will give stability.

What is character? Your character determines your thoughts, your behavior, and how you respond to challenges. So it ultimately determines the quality of your life. A strong character does not mean that you are dominant. That is a tricky character. Unfortunately, those two are sometimes confused. Read more

My Top 3 Tips For Fitting You-time Into Your Busy Schedule

This blog post has been authored by Rebecca Branham, Rebecca Branham Health & Wellness Coaching

You control your time. No one else. Being busy isn’t a status symbo. It’s not a proxy of your seriousness. See if this is true for you - are you worthy if you aren’t busy? Are you successful if you’re not busy? You’re lazy if you’re not busy.

If those may be true for you let me know with a yes in the comments so we can chat more about it.

Think about your day. Do you have this belief that if you’re busy you’re successful, you’re not lazy, your needed and valuable? Are any of those true?

The truth is, when you're busy and buzzing all the time there is no room for growth, there is no room to plan your growth, there is no room for you to breathe and give yourself what you need. There is no room for you to set yourself up for success. Of course, you don’t have time for self-care or to take care of yourself …

Zones of Genius: The Breakdown!

This blog post has been authored by Mia LaMotte, LaMotte International, LLC.

Have you ever heard of such a thing as Zone of Genius? We are diving deep into it over in the Brand Disruptors Group Coaching Program and I wanted to share with you a bit.

This concept is written about in Gay Hendricks's book The Big Leap. In his book, he defines Zone of Genius as a set of activities YOU are uniquely suited to do, your special gifts and strengths.

Do you know what yours are? Do you believe this is even a thing? This week my clients and I are going in deep to discover their Zones of Genius. The only way that we can become the best versions of ourselves is to live a life centered around this concept.

Here’s what I mean by this:Many of us are doing things that we suck at so that we can save money, especially if you own your own business (am I right?). I know that I have.I am not very good at the minor details and…

Blind Spots

This blog post has been authored by Denise Fitzpatrick, My Marriage Works

My client came to session last week pissed at her husband.

“He always pressures me to do things even when I say no”.He wanted to go to a restaurant for dinner and she didn’t want to go. Because of Covid.“He just keeps asking and asking and asking until I give in”.“I don’t know why he does this, it’s so disrespectful, it’s like he doesn’t ever listen to me”.In the session her goal was to solve her husband’s “disrespectful” behavior because she believed “he makes me do things I don’t want to”. This seems like a reasonable thing to want….to want your husband to not nag you when you’ve said no. So I asked her what she wanted to do about that.I want him to stop asking me when I’ve said no and just listen to me. Again, seems reasonable. But trying to get him to change is what she’s been doing for years and it hasn’t been w…

Top 10 Benefits of Building Your Own Digital Products

This blog post has been authored by Tina Dahmen, Dahmen Consulting OÜ

1. Digital Products Survive Any Epidemic – Yes, we have all learned our lesson from this Coronavirus. Many businesses have already gone bankrupt and many more will be hit. If you sell digital products online, your business is less like to be affected by any epidemic nor by any natural disaster (volcano eruption, tsunamis, earthquakes etc.).

On the contrary, when people are being forced to stay at home (more), they are more likely to surf online and come across your digital products and may end up purchasing them.

2. Low Barrier of Entry – You don’t need a huge amount of money to get started, but you can make a huge amount of money in return once you have launched. In fact, you can create your own online course with a budget of $0 and host it on and e-learning platform called Udemy for example.

I would never recommend you to do that …

So WTH is an Online Business Manager anyways?

This blog post has been authored by Christelle Fernandez, iVirtual Business Services

So WTH is an Online Business Manager anyway?!? And How can they help me Run my Business like a Boss?

Whenever I tell someone I’m an OBM (aka Online Business Manager), no ever knows what it is I do.

The easiest way to think is it’s literally in the title….a Business Manager who performs their services Online. That’s it! Or another way I like to explain it…a part time COO for Entrepreneurs, helping manage day to day operations and so much more.

Depending on your business, your OBM can be for you a consultant, a systems wizard, manager of your virtual team, sometimes your coach, someone that cheers you on or holds your hand (or both at the same time), listens to you vent, but also helps you pop that champagne and celebrate those wins, girl!

Your virtual COO brings to life your Vision, Goals and Strategy.

How You Can Learn The Art of Blogging

This blog post has been authored by Anne-Marie Ianko, Iris Writing International

Have you considered starting your own blog, perhaps for content marketing? Or have you started one already, but do not know what to write? Writers and content marketers alike often run into these kinds of questions, but answers are available.

Blogging Verses Content Marketing

Note, blogging and content marketing have two different definitions yet remain closely related.

Professionals define content marketing as the creation and distribution of journalistic, valuable, and audience-focused copy aimed at increasing client acquisition.

In contrast, they define blogging as content consistently posted to a specific site, with regular updates to keep the content fresh. Basically, content marketing encompasses blogging, therefore an overlap exists between the two. For a lot of companies, blogging essentially brings…

Scarlett Says

This blog post has been authored by Scarlett De Bease, Scarlett Image

Nobody, nowhere, no way, and no how could have even dreamed up what we and I mean WE are going thru right now.

For many, the ability to continue working is a blessing and a curse as they are regularly exposed to the Coronavirus. But without them, we wouldn’t have food, medical care, medications, pet needs, and our beloved Amazon shipments.

Some lucky people can conduct what is left of their business virtually via Zoom, Skype, etc. and are currently only seen from the waist up.

So, what to wear when working virtually?

First, be sure to wear the color or colors nearest your face that makes your skin tone look healthy. Now more than ever, you need to give the impression of good health and strength when you’re fortunate enough to have it.

Avoid any color that makes your skin look sallow. Instead, wear colors that mat…

Family Over Everything, Or Nah? Transparency 101

This blog post has been authored by Miangel Crabbe, Off Top Life & Love Relationship Counseling Svcs.

Ladies, I was that WOMAN! I was the woman who claimed that my family always came first. That’s why I worked so hard to create a financially stable environment for my kids right? This is why I went to work at the crack of dawn, returned home in the evening sometimes 7 or 8 pm. I made sure everyone ate, cleaned up what others wouldn’t, and then went to bed, and then put it on repeat the next day. Somewhere in between all that 100000 miles per hour crazy, I was a counselor, secretary, chef, housekeeper, lover, nurse, therapist, you name it, I did it. I was a mother and, wife and I also had a full-time job while attending college. I was a workhorse, chronic workaholic and I functioned that way for all of my children’s lives’. I was always moving fast, and you could not slow me down for anything. I put m…
