When I’m working with my coaching clients, I find it’s helpful to take a step back—to look not just at the goals themselves, or at ways to make them happen, but at what factors are holding them back to begin with.

I believe that the key to strong and enduring relationships is the development of a strong sense of self. While the goal for most individuals is to create a deep sense of intimacy, developing a strong sense of self is a prerequisite to creating an emotional connection.
